- On this Temporary Graduate visa, Students can stay in Australia for 2 to 4 years after completing their studies, depending on the level of qualification completed.

- Graduate Work Stream
- On this visa, students can usually stay in Australia for up to 18 months. Temporary extension to 24 months for visas issued from 1 December 2021.
- The duration of stay on the Temporary Graduate visa for Masters of Coursework Graduates will be permanently extended from two to three years, to match the duration of stay of Masters of Research Graduates.

Intakes
- Intake dates may vary by institutions and often by courses, mostly, Australian universities have at least 3 intakes per year
- Semester 1 – February/March
- Spring/Summer Term October/November
- Semester 2 July/August
- Many Australian institutions are working to introduce a block teaching model, which allows for multiple intakes.
General admissions processes
If want to apply for admission, you must require the following documents. Required documents may vary by Institutions, but most Australian institutions will require the following main documents during the application process
- Copy of passport
- Academic transcripts
- Students may need to complete specific compulsory subjects for admission to some courses.
- Proof of English language proficiency.
Some additional courses may also require:
- A portfolio (Arts)
- Letters of reference
Deposits, Tuition Fees, and Deadlines
Course Acceptance
- To accept a place in an Australian Institution a deposit is required. Deposit is required in order to be admitted to an Australian institution. This deposit amount is included on the Letter of Offer, upon signing the Letter of Offer and payment of the required deposit has been made, a Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) will be issued by the Institution.
- Deposit amounts can differ by Institution and Course the list below provides a general idea of the expected deposit amount
- ELICOS: Full amount of the course may vary on the length of course required, but Approx AUD 400 – AUD 500 p/w
- Undergraduate Bachelor: The tuition fees for semester 1 or 2 terms Approx (AUD 12,000 – AUD 15,000)
- Postgraduate Masters: The tuition fees for semester 1 or 2 terms Approx (AUD 15,000 – AUD 20,000)
- Doctoral Degree: The tuition fees for semester 1 or 2 terms Approx (AUD 15,000 – AUD 20,000).
- Packaged courses require a total of both individual deposit amounts.
Acceptance deadlines
- The application deadlines may vary by institution and program because each institution has its own admissions cycle. More popular courses have earlier application deadlines, while less popular courses remain open until they are full. Application deadlines are usually one week before the start of the academic semester for onshore students and about one month before the start of the academic term for offshore students.

Study visa requirements and processing
- Some standard documents are required for the visa process but it may also vary by the institution:
- Electronic Confirmation of Enrolment (eCoE) of the selected institution
- Evidence of financial ability. The financial ability includes:
- Students must have sufficient funds to cover their travel costs, accommodation costs, and tuition fees for 12 months, and any school-age dependents they plan to bring.
- Evidence that their partner or family members are willing to support them and have the financial resources to do so if any family members of the student are traveling with them. The expected annual income should be from AUD 20,000 to AUD 60,000.
- Overseas student health insurance policy, must check with the institution you have applied to as they may have a preferred insurer.
- Evidence of the required language ability level means language test scores. it may vary depending on the level of each nation
- Documents for partners and dependents (if applicable)
- Statement of Purpose (SOP)
It is important to ensure that you have all required the documents and are correct. If your visa application is rejected, the Department of Home Affairs will not refund the application charge.
Student visa processing times vary by region, it can be anywhere from 3 weeks to 3 months.
