Tuition fees
The tuition fees may vary for international students based on the degree type. For international students, the cost of studying at a university in Cyprus for bachelor and undergraduate degree programs is less than 3500 Euros per year but if the study course is Pharmacy, then the per year tuition fee costs almost 7000 Euros. But the tuition fee for Master, Ph.D., and Post Graduate degrees ranges between 2000 to 2500 Euros.

Study in Cyprus without IELTS
Admission requirements to Cypriot universities are not very competitive and demanding, so high band scores in IELTS, TOEFL, and other English language proficiency tests are not mandatory to get admission.
Instead, international students will only be required to attend or appear in the university’s English placement test upon arrival in Cyprus. Students must obtain a minimum grade of C in this exam.
In some cases, some Cypriot universities may require IELTS if you are going to study professional programs and courses in Cyprus. Students who wish to study in Cyprus without IELTS should choose a study program that does not require IELTS.

These scholarships can be partially funded to cover 25% of their tuition fees or fully funded to cover 100% of their tuition fees. Additionally, these scholarships are awarded to students on a merit and need basis. Merit-based scholarships are awarded to students who maintain their specified academic average during the semester and throughout their academic program.

Study and work in Cyprus
There are a number of part-time jobs available to students in Cyprus, which help them earn money while studying. But international students, especially non-European students, cannot study and work at the same time in Cyprus except in a few conditions where students can work. The students can work while studying if their course of study includes an internship or during the summer. Their working requirements are quite easy and simple. Students from non-European nations, particularly those from the third world, are not permitted to work during their whole course of education without these specific requirements. For a student from a non-European third-world country, getting a work permit is much more difficult.
Students will also have to get a work permit during the summer internship which is extremely difficult to obtain. Students are strictly prohibited from working without a work permit, with severe penalties including deportation. Work permit rules and regulations are different for European and non-European students.
Non-European students are not allowed to work more than 20 hours per week during the semester and 40 hours per week during the summer. Students are allowed to work in certain areas including restaurants, cleaning, delivery, and construction sites. The working environment in Cyprus is not too bad. Most students perceive a friendly and understanding environment but it depends on your interaction and behavior with them.
