Fee Structure in Turkish universities

Tuition fees in Turkey can vary by institution and course. Tuition fees depend on the program and the type of institution you choose.
  • The average tuition fee for a degree program at a public university range between 1600 and 9000 Turkish Lira (TRY) per year. While private universities are very expensive, they are allowed by the state to set their own tuition fee rates. Their average fee can charge up to 110,000 Turkish Lira (TRY) per year for a degree.
  • The living cost in turkey depends on the place you choose to stay in. Accommodation in small towns and cities is less expensive than in big cities. The average budget ranges between 2000 to 2700 Turkish Lira (TRY) per month.

Study in Turkey in English and without IELTS

Turkish State or public universities ask for the international entrance exam, and high IELTS, IBT, or TOEFL. Their tuition fees are relatively low, ranging between 500 – 2000 US$ per year. On the other hand, most private universities do not require IELTS, IBT, or TOEFL results and international entrance exams to teach English. However, they generally prefer high marks in the main course with an average of around 80%. Alternatively, you must attend a university English prep program for one year.

Student visa for Turkey

Turkish Universities are emerging as the most popular educational providers worldwide, providing top-notch instruction across all fields. International students who want to study in Turkey must get a valid student visa. A student visa allows international students to study in Turkey and stay there for the entire duration of the study program in which he/ she are enrolled. While outside of Turkey, a student must submit an application for admission to a reputable Turkish university and get an offer letter confirming the admission to a study program. Once the university issues the offer letter, the candidate must submit all necessary academic, personal, and other visa application documents and get a Turkish student visa from a Turkish embassy.  This procedure typically takes 8 weeks from the date the visa application is submitted. A Turkish student visa allows the candidate to study in Turkey and stay there for the full duration of the study program they are enrolled in as well as to apply for a residence permit that allows them to visit Turkey multiple times until the residence permit is valid.
